Viral Video Shows Bus Driver Singing ‘How Great Thou Art’ In Empty Grain Silo

Beautiful!

Being able to sing is a wonderful gift from God. For Jenny Mann, it certainly is a way to spread the love of God with friends, family and the whole world.

Jenny is a lady with a great voice and a great personality to match. She loves to sing just for fun, and most of all, she loves to sing her favorite hymns and patriotic songs.

The substitute bus driver, wife, and mother of three became a media star when she walked into an empty grain silo and recorded herself singing. The video that she quietly posted on Facebook shows her acapella version of the beloved Christian hymn, “How Great Thou Art.”

Jenny sang this song on the request of one of her friends and soon transitioned into “God Bless America” by the end of the video.

Her vocals will take your breath away, and the inspiring tune is only further aided by the empty grain bin’s echoing acoustics. The post has garnered over 2 million views and been shared more than 30,000 times by admiring fans.

Jenny said:

“I posted the video for a friend of mine who loves the song, but never expected anything like the response I’ve received … I’m always singing in places with good acoustics, so this was nothing out of the ordinary for me.”

She followed up her performance with a series of Facebook Live posts. Her most recent explains what her next steps will be after the grain bin performance.

She is so excited by the response to her song that she says, “I’m excited, and I’m overwhelmed … If this just reaches one person to share the love of Jesus, it was worth it … It is fun, but at the same time it is very humbling.”

It just goes to show you that you never know what good things might come your way unless you put yourself out there.
