Daniela Carneiro and Eduardo Ribeiro saw a different potential of the Mercedes-Benz Actros and turned it into a “Truck Surf Hotel.” The six-wheeler hotel may be inspired by van life, but it is much larger than any camper van.

Daniela and Eduardo converted the truck into a double-decker mobile hotel that takes surf camps to a completely new level. If you think sleeping in a truck sounds like roughin’ it, then you haven’t met a truck like this.

The Truck Surf Hotel official website stated:

“If you are looking for a dream holiday, where you can explore different surf spots, culture, outdoor activities, and amazing nature, you came to the right place! The Truck Surf Hotel is the best experience for you.”

The Truck Surf Hotel offers unique accommodation for active travelers who want a little flexibility in their vacation plans.

On the bottom level, a communal living space includes a mini-kitchen, built-in sofa, dining table, and sliding glass doors that open onto a balcony. On the upper floor, there are five bedrooms.

There’s even WiFi, AC, and a full bath in the truck.

There’s capacity for ten guests who typically spend at least a week on the truck, which changes location every few days to seek out the best surf spots depending on current conditions.

Guests discover new surf spots away from crowded tourist beaches and choose exactly the right time to go into the water. The Truck Surf Hotel has been operating since July 2017.

The Truck Surf Hotel costs anywhere between $600 and $900 per person, depending on the location and season.
