If you grew up as a kid in the 90’s, we’re sure you know Planters Cheez Balls. Chances are, you’re a big fan and are already missing it badly since it’s been gone off the shelves for 12 years now.
Well we’ve got some great news for you, folks. Believe it or not, the iconic snack is making a grand comeback this July 2018.
Back by popular demand – in its retro canisters, no less.
As officially announced by the Kraft Heinz Company, they will again be producing Planters Cheez Balls and Cheez Curls after it was phased out over a decade ago. This, of course, is a response to the numerous pleas and petitions they’ve receive from fans throughout the years.
Melanie Huet, head of brand building at Planter’s, said in a press release:
“We heard many impassioned pleas for us to bring Cheez Balls and Cheez Curls back over the years and we wanted to give our fans a chance to reunite with their most-missed cheesy snack.”
The company promises the same taste, texture, and color we’ve all grown to love.
