Many youngsters these days would do almost anything to get attention and more likes on social media. Unfortunately, in their attempt to get a shot at viral glory, they do risky trends and challenges that are highly dangerous.
While other challenges are quite harmless, this new one is definitely dangerous. It’s called the “Hot Water Challenge.” The challenge is self-explanatory, people are doing things that boiling water. You either throw it on someone or trick a person to drink it through a straw.
Why are people doing this life-threatening challenge, you ask? Well, it’s simple. Someone did it and got a lot of likes, so others follow in the hopes to get the same response from the audience.
The worst part is that it’s mostly kids who are doing this dangerous trend and what makes it even scarier is that not all are willing participants.
Take the case of Kyland Clark of Indianapolis, Indiana, for example.
After looking up at the “Hot Water Challenge” on YouTube, he and his friend decided to prank each other. However, his pal took it a little too far and poured boiling water on him while he was sleeping.
“And then I looked down at my chest. My skin just fell off my chest, and then I looked in the mirror, and I had skin falling off here and on my face.”
Kyland suffered a second-degree burns and was admitted to the hospital for treatment.
It’s surprising such graphic videos have even been able to spread online. Sensitive content, especially content that’s violent is frequently flagged and removed from social media platforms. YouTube’s community guidelines specifically bar “violent or graphic content.” “Don’t encourage others to commit specific acts of violence,” it reads.
So why are these dangerous challenge videos still up and circulating?

Enormous Steer Named Knickers Is Heavier Than A Car And Almost As Tall As Michael Jordan
Holy cow! That’s a lot of burgers!
It looks like bigger isn't necessarily better. An enormous steer named Knickers was deemed too big for export. However, this meant that the gigantic cow has a second chance in life. In addition to that, he found fame for being almost as tall as legendary basketball star Michael Jordan.
Knickers belongs to Geoff Pearson of Myalup in Perth, Western Australia. The owner had initially planned to sell the 2,800-pound steer at an auction. Although the idea of a 6'4" tall steer might seem impressive, nobody bid on Knickers. Potential buyers wouldn't dare take on the enormous beast that is obviously too big for their farm equipment.
Knickers is heavier than most cars.
