Coffee lovers are not that hard to impress. All they want is a good coffee and a nice ambiance. But since people nowadays are more drawn to places that are unique and Instagram-worthy, cafes have started to think outside of the box.

Knowing what consumers are looking for, a cafe in South Korea offers visitors a one-of-a-kind experience that they couldn’t resist. For those who have ever watched a cartoon and wondered what it would be like to step into that world, Cafe Yeonnam-dong 239-20 in Seoul now allows you to experience that.

Cafe Yeonnam-dong 239-20 is located in Yeonnam-dong district, which is a very popular area in the city. When you stepped inside the cafe, it’s like you’re transported to a whole different world.

Although cartoons had been a huge part of our childhood, we never really thought that one day we will be living in it. Thanks to Cafe Yeonnam-dong 239-20, which is inspired by the popular K-drama “W – Two Worlds,” we can now experience the 2D-looking dreamscape firsthand.

Visitors can spot the cafe by its white gate and a tiny cutout home that sits in front of it, giving a slight taste of what they’ll find once inside.

Once they step through the door, they will see everything in two-dimensional. The floor, pieces of furniture, walls, and even the tableware were perfectly created to make them look like they’re just sketches.

The “drawing cafe,” as it’s known to some, also has a gorgeous selection of colorful beverages and food to choose from.

Even its cups are created with the same black and white design to look like someone drew them right on the spot, with the cafe’s design extended into its bathroom as well.

For those who are planning to visit Seoul soon, you should definitely add a trip to Cafe Yeonnam-dong 239-20 to your itinerary.
In the meantime, you can check the cafe’s social media accounts.
